I put this 10-40X56 on a rimfire to shoot some local fun “matches”, it’s great for that, it focuses down to 15 yards. You can easily put the center dot on a match stick at 25 yards.
I sure hope that as Athlon grows, they remember all the small dealers that got them to where they are.

Ruger precision rifle in .308, mounted on extra high rings.
Zeroed it, shot 200 or so rounds @ 12″ steel @ 300 yards on 3 different occasions. Never touched the turrets, still set exactly like I zeroed it.
Mom hasn’t shot a rifle in 20 years, let alone @ 300 yards through 40x. She hit the 12″ gong at 300 yards 3 out of 3 times.
Best scope I have ever used. 1000 dollar scope for 400 bucks.

I love this scope. Glass is very clear – it’s gives up a little at 40X but at 35X it looks as good as a Vortex Golden Eagle for <1/3rd the price. Mine's on a Savage 10 in 6.5 Creedmoor and at ranges out to 1000 yards I can still plainly see my own splashes. Tracks perfectly and the turret detents/clicks are crisp and solid. As another said it's a $1400 scope for $400.

First about the scope. It has all the features that you need in a target scope.I really like the reticle with the floating dot and the rest of it does not give you information over load (just what you need).I could not afford all its features and quality in any other brand. As soon as I can I will be buying another one. Second there warranty and service is great!! I had just bought my BTR scope and was sighting it in. I went inside and left it on the bench. When I came back it had fallen on the concrete and hit on the top turret (a 13lb target gun)badly damaging it.Called them up and told them what had happen and that it was my fault and would pay for repairs. They told me to send it in ,that was on a Monday. The next week I recieved a new scope at no charge.Thats hard to beat!! THANK YOU ATHLON P.S. Have called them on other questions with scopes and they have gone out of there way to help.
