These are hands down the highest quality optics around!
I have the Midas 12×50 binos on In all my hunting pics, and they definitely were used in all my hunts. I can’t go anywhere without them! Great prices, great warranty, and fantastic customer service! Keep an eye on these guys, they’re going to be making an impact on the outdoor company folks.

I used the Midas 12×50 binoculars on a recent Newfoundland moose hunt and found them excellent for spotting and assessing moose. These binos have great clarity across the field of view, and the 12x magnification was perfect for determining spread and width of mature bulls at a distance. Later, when using them while stalking moose, they helped me locate a bull in cover and hone in on his rack. I definitely recommend them.

They’re clear and bright, easily focused, and relatively compact.

5 stars. Clear optics, solid build. I saw no obvious CA at all. I have a pair of competitor mid-range 8×42 binoculars that I pad nearly 500 dollars for and these were as clear if not clearer. The diopter adjustment was fairly simple.
The only issues I had were that the provided eye cups (which I never use on any binocular) on the objectives made it impossible to close the binoculars fully to get a nice round view. This would be true of any 12×50. I remove them on all makes and models and just store in the pouch. Additionally be careful with selecting a tripod adapter as a slim version is needed for the same reason.
I use 8×42 currently as a walk around set and have my 12×50 Midas binocs in the pack for mounting to a tripod where they truly shine. 12×50 can be viewed hand held in a pinch, but are recommended to be attached to a monopod or tripod.
I spotted rocky mountain bighorn sheep with these at 1 mile on a rock face when my two buddies with Vortex Viper HD 10x42s could not and had to borrow my Athlon 12x50s to see them. I also spotted a herd of antelope around 3 miles away that nobody else saw while hand holding them.
I will be adding a set of Cronus 8.5×42 very soon once the price drops to match the 10×42 version which for some reason is 80 dollars less. The Midas is every bit as good as some brands top tier sub $1000 models. Ready to see what the field flatteners can do in the Cronus for my smaller glass.
