Description
If you ask any hunter they’ll probably tell you they have filled more tags in the low-light hours than any other time. With that said, it would be wise to design a scope to excel in early-morning and late-evening light. With the Talos scope with Athlon Advanced multi-coated lenses for clarity and brightness in low light, you’ll be able to add precious minutes to every hunting day. These scopes, with their 4X magnification range, will give you great versatility whether you are hunting whitetails in the dense southern pine forest of Georgia, or prairie dogs on the wide open ranges of Wyoming. With one-piece tube design, the Talos line includes an assortment of specialty scopes for big-game, varmint, MSR’s, 22 rimfire, slug, black powder, and turkey hunting.
This Talos 4-16×40 Model has a Mildot second focal plane reticle in it. Please click the link to see the subtension of the reticle.

Absolutely without any doubt the best you can buy for the dollars spent… I ordered this riflescope from Dustin Hamby from D&R Optics glass is clear, clear, on 16 power no shadowing at all this scope continues to blow me away.. Clicks are clean and crisp no mushiness at all….im not trying to sell this scope do your own research hands down the best their is in this price range!!! Do yourself a favor before the boss sobers up and realize’s he’s not charging enough and the price goes up!!! Talos 4x16x40 Mildot Retinal… Truly amazing. Put mine on a Savage Axis 22-250 and at 600 yards can read a desanta water bottle…only thing I will say is I got a sfp and I know not what power I can range with as its not marked!! If you know please post

I bought this scope for my Remington 700 SPS tactical, I am very impressed with the quality of the scope for the money spent, crystal clear glass, no shadowing around the edges, awesome eye relief. gorgeous finish, very positive, tactile clicks on the windage and elevation turrets. Haven’t had a chance to go to the range with it yet, but I’m looking forward to the experience. Now to discuss why I’m docking a star from my over all score. There seems to be a few alignment issues on my particular scope; 1) the collar on the objective bell at the very front of the scope isn’t perfectly aligned with the rest of the bell. 2) my elevation turret does not line up perfectly between the mil marks on the knob itself and the indicator on the scope. 3) at max power (16) the power number doesn’t line up perfectly with the dot. Now these things aren’t a huge deal. To be perfectly honest I’m not in the least upset, and am totally willing to look past these “issues” as long as the scope performs. Over all, awesome product, awesome price, awesome quality. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. And would definitely suggest to a friend. Next scope will be the Argos btr.

I already have 2 Talos BTR’s. One on a seekins AR15 other Savage .243. I also have this Talos on a Savage A17. My new one will on a RWS Daina springer air gun. Great optics at an unbeatable price. Clear glass, and the turrets go click, click , click. Very nice.

Mounted on a Savage B Mag and could not be more happy with this optic. Never used Mil Dot before and found it very easy to work out the distance to the target. Went out for the first time the temp was -11 C. Never fogged and the controls were workable. Clear glass, great for these old eyes. Can not beat this optic for the money and out classes many higher price scopes I have owned in the past. Great job!!
